How many records can MS Access 2003 support? I am under the impression that
the record limit is what sets SQL apart from Access.

Thanks for the help

As answered earlier to today in a similar post, there are no limits on
number of records, just on database size.

Hi gjh,

Rick pointed out the answer to number of record limit in access.

I'm just commenting on your impression that record limit is what sets SQL
apart from Access. Although number of record is a possible criterion used in
choosing Access vs. SQL, it is far, and very far, from being the most
important one. Many choose or migrate to SQL over Access because of
robustness, reliability, security, performance, etc. etc. etc. These are
much more important criteria than number of records.

Browse through the various Access newsgroups, and you will get a feel for
what sets SQL apart from Access.
