How many records can I have in an Access 2003 DB?

The limitations are not based on record count; the maximum size of the
database cannot exceed 2GB.

The limit is total database size about 2 gig. I have used a number with
over 100,000 records with no noticeable slow down or other problems. I
understand that in the million range things can slow down a bit.
