How many of you are experiencing stability problems with Access?

I recently upgraded from 03 to 07. Love the changes with one major and one
minor exception. When I write a query from query design, occationally I see
that Microsoft has arbitrarily added all the fields of the file I'm dealing
with instead of just the ones I want. Later, when I test macros I find set
queries have been changed in the same way and therefore the macro's don't
work. I have updated to SP1 & SP2 but still see the same thing. The minor
irritation is that I must use the F2 key to rename my files/objects because
the mouse option closes before I can remove my hand from the mouse.

Sounds as though you might have inadvertently set the option to have all
fields included in queries. Click on the Office Button (upper left-hand
corner), and select Access Options (at the bottom of the dialog). Look under
Query Design in the Object Designers section.

Regarding your naming problem, do you perhaps have a Timer set on any forms?
That can cause odd things to happen in the user interface.
