How many names max can you include in the to or cc fields?

I have a user who wants to know how many names/email addresses she can put in
the to: and/or cc: fields in an Outlook email message. Would there be a
difference in whether it was a web based Outlook application?

Outlook has no limitations. Your mail server might.

What is a 'web based Outlook application'? Outlook Web Access? I'm not
aware of any limits, but you might want to go to
microsoft.public.exchange.clients to ask. OWA isn't part of Outlook, but
part of Exchange instead.
