How many fields can be in a table that can be translated in to a .

I am trying to build a data base wheer I have nearly 500 feilds. Is there a
way to make just one table and form out of it to have a data sheet. What is
the maximum feild that I can have inorder to create a form?
 
The maximum number of fields in a table is 255 and if you ever need anywhere
near that many it's a good sign that your database is poorly designed.
