Windows XP is 32-bit unless it tells you otherwise.
Start > Run > type in "winver" > hit Enter
If you see " 64-bit " you have a 64-bit version. If you do not then you
have a 32-bit version. Almost all of the millions of installed copies of
Windows XP are 32-bit. A few thosand copies, usually bought by private
enterprise, are 64-bit. The 64-bit versions are used on Intel Itanium
powered workstations and servers.
