great start!

you need to optimize your images, not only are some of them phyically huge, but the file sizes are too big.

you can download IrFanview (a freebie) which will let you optimize, resize, and batch process them...and lots of other stuff.

btw, King of the Close Line should be "clothes" line.

Personal opinion on design...

1) It looks too "pre-packaged FrontPage-ish". FrontPage is capable of
handling marvelous advanced designs, but this looks a bit like what one could
do back with FP 98. I'd can the "boxy" links, and go for something more
clean and modern.

2) The "under construction" has ALWAYS been a turn-off for me. ALL sites
are "under construction" - even if they are finished - because there are
constant renovations needed. If you don't have enough content up to leave
out the "under construction" notice, don't post the site.

I like the static background feature. In full screen resolution, 1024 x 748
and above, though, your background repeats to the right.

Hope that helps!

As was mentioned, some of your images' (the geckos) file sizes are to big
(over a meg).
Your menu seems to be in a slightly different position on each page.

Other than that, not too bad.

Grab a copy of the free IrfanView and use it to resize / resample your images.
Use "resample" and the Lanczos filter.

I Like the sig.
