How far back can I find meetings I declined?

When searching for meetings I declined, does Outlook search only the Deleted
Items folder?
 
Yes. If you declined them, why would they be anywhere in your Outlook Data?

I never keep my trash around for more than 2 days before taking it out to
the garbage can. Why should Outlook keep anything you deemed unimportant
and therefore declined around for any reason?
