Has anyone come across a problem with date formatting
when dates are exported from TAS Books 2 accoutning
software to an Excel workbook? For eaxmple in TAS Books 2
the date is 04/06/2004 but when exported to Excel it will
appear as 06/04/2004. Does anyone know the solution to
this problem?
Thanks

It/s a format problem. compare in Europe's date format to
america's. you probable have the american version of
excel.
if it is a problem for you, you can create a custom date
format. goto edit>cells>custom. in the type box enter
dd/mm/yy(or what format you want to see). by default I
guess you are set up as american date format so you may
have to reformat the date after import. I don't know how
you are importing. if you are using a macro you can add
the refomat to it.
