how do I export excel spreedsheet to outlook address book?

I have a excel spreedsheet with all my outlook contacts, I want to update my
address book. I can't seem to find a quick way to export the data from excel
to outlook.. can anyone help? Many thanks,

With your Contacts info in columns in Excel..................

Name.........Address..........email.........whatever

Save the workbook after giving your list a defined
name through Insert>Name>Define.

Outlook likes that.

With Outlook open go to File>Import Export>"Import from another program or
file"

Follow your nose from there to choose your Excel workbook.

Note: the mapping can be done while importing.

To see the full list of fields Outlook has, export some of your your
contacts to
a new Excel workbook to get an idea of what's available for mapping.
