When I enter an address in the address bar or follow a link in my favorites
or follow a link on a web site or follow a link on a search engine I'm
visiting the address is often quickly changed to one I do not want to go to.
I know this can occur when a site no longer exists or has set-up a
forwarding address to a new site BUT I also know this can occur under
several circumstances where I do not what it to occur. These include another
site, usually a more powerful site, either sets-up a program to redirect all
traffic which either visited their site before and has a cookie which
redirects them when certain keywords are used , or is coming from a certain
server, etc. The site I'm try to visit has set-up a blocker which will not
permit certain or all users to access the site.
I would like to know how I can set-up internet Explorer 6.0 to either not
except new URLs (probably not practical since homepage servers can change)
or request permission to follow a new URL.
In other words, I'm trying stop others from redirecting my web queries!
