How does connetor work? Any way to manually duplicate it?

I am running Outlook 03. I tried using connector and it worked great, for a
while. Then it started to mumble up accounts when I tried manually adding
others from my yahoo and verizon. Connector does what everyone says Outlook
can not do, and, that is sync folders from the server into individual
accounts (at least folders on the outlook desktop) just like what you have on
the server. It is all seperate from the "personals" folder, which is a god
send (you screwed that one up Microsoft, sorry). If the email folders
corrupt, and I try to go into accounts to look, all I can get when I try to
go into the connector accounts is the sign in screen. Is there anyway I can
manually make an account so I can go in and check the setting anytime I want?
I know I can make accounts manually, but, what does connector do that makes
individual file folders and sub folders viewable seperate from the personal
folder, like I like?

You mean you want separate folder sets for each POP3 account? You can do
this by using rules. Outlook 2007 can do this without rules. The
MSN/Live/Hotmail Outlook Connector is only for MSN/Live/Hotmail accounts.

Yes, I know. All other accounts in my outlook 03 are stuffed into the
"personals" folder, which I find appaling on Microsofts behalf. Why would I
have 6 email accounts and want them all in one "personals" folder? It may be
nice if it was an "option", but, we are at a day and age where we can do
better than that. Now, with Connector, it makes individual outlook folders
so they appear to at least "look" like they are seperated from the
"personals" folder. Connector also makes all duplicate sub folders, so, in
essence, I have an added account in outlook that looks and behaves just like
my hotmail account, seperate from the "personal" account. Now, weather it is
still all in one PST file, thats another story for later debate.

Connector does it, so, it can be done, nw, I want to do it with yahoo and my
Verizon accounts. Obviously connector only does this for MSN, so, i want to
manually do it for the other accounts as well as manually doing it for my MSN
accounts, for reasons posted above.

Not possible unless you make an IMAP connection to your accounts. POP3 is
something completely different than an IMAP or a Hotmail account. As I said
before, you can use Rules to organize your mails from different POP3
accounts into separate folders or upgrade to Outlook 2007.
