how do you undo merged cells?

Cells already merged -- how can I umerged them again to their original cells?
 
I suspect you reached the wrong newsgroup. This newsgroup supports folks

Is this in Excel (which has cells) or in Access (the subject of this
newsgroup)?

Depending on what's in them, it may be a simple substring operation,
or it may be like unscrambling eggs. Post more details (in one of the
Excel newsgroups, not here, if you're using Excel).
