how do you transfer a document to a website?

i have my resume saved in my documents. How do you copy and paste it to a
website that is wanting my resume. you can't copy and paste?

Save it as plain text.Open the plain text file in Notepad. Check the
formatting is acceptable (notepad and the web page will not handle tables)
then copy and paste to the web page.
