How do you spread a value evenly between two defined dates?

I have a value, say 600.

I have two dates: 9/3/04 and 14/3/04.

How do I get excel to automatically spread out the value evenly accros
the dates specified e.g. lay out the following

Column 1 Column 2
9/3/04 100
10/3/04 100
11/3/04 100
12/3/04 100
13/3/04 100
14/3/04 100


?????!!

Any help appreciated - relative virgin to Excel functions!!

if your start date is stored in D1, your end date is stored in E1 and
the value is stored in F1 try the following formulas:
A1:
=D1

A2:
=IF(A1<$E$1,A1+1,"")
and copy down

B1:
=$F$1/($E$1-$D$1+1)
and copy down
