You bet there's an address book!! There's a toolbar icon and a menu
selection 'Tools > Address Book' that's in OL2003 and (as far as I know)
every version of Outlook to this point. Although I've never understood
WHY
there's an Address Book AND Contacts, but perhaps it makes more sens in an
Exchange environment.
If you search Help you will find an entry that plainly states 'You can't
change this' However, that is WRONG!!
1. Tools > Email Accounts
2. Select 'View or Change...' under 'Directory'
3. Select your Outlook Address Book and click 'change'
4. At the bottom of that popup, you should see 'Show names by' and you can
choose 'First Last' or 'File As' .
That should do the trick! Older version of Outlook probably do this
differently, but the last several version seem to all handle this the
same....
Good luck,
Eric

Outlook has no address book. It uses Contact Folders.
Clarify which view of the Contact Folders you are trying to sort.
To sort the address book view of your Contacts, you would need to post
your
Outlook version for an answer.

I upgraded from Outlook Express to Outlook. When I imported the
addressbook
(email) it shows first name last. How can I resort to last name first?
