How do you set up Auto Responder using Outlook 2000

I need to set up Auto Responder using Outlook 2000
I need to send out automated resposes to emails I
receive. Is there any detailed instructions on how
to set this up.

Have you tried Tools | Out of Office Assistant?

Even if you're not actually "out of the office," the Assistant can
automatically respond to all incoming messages (once for each recipient).

create a template and use rules. Use "reply using a specific template".
 
Note that this is an Exchange only feature and needs to be emulated using a
template when Exchange is not used.
