My thumbnails are the correct size, but when I click on them they open up in
a new page, but they stay the same size, I want them to enlarge to a decent
size picture.

You have to have the large image in your web, and then create a link to them from the thumbnails. By
default when you use FP's auto-thumbnail feature, it will leave the large photo as is and create the
smaller thumbnail with a link to the large image.

When I pulled the photos off of the camera I used to take the shots, I stored them in a folder and then created the photo gallery and used add pictures from file. Does this mean that the original photos are still the standard size and all I have to do is enlarge those and adjust the hyperlink on the thumbnail?

You need to import the images into your current open FP web / site first, but if taking the images
direct from the camera files, you need to optimize them first in a image application, as well make
them smaller.

I'm still lost, I totally redid another photo gallery and tried to follow
the tutorial, but it turned out the same, it's as if the camera images are
now reduced to thumbnail size.
