how do you retrieve a deleted "for follow up" folder?

My "For Follow Up" folder isn't working correctly. I've flagged messages,
yet they do not appear in the search folder. I even tried dragging the
messaes into it, but no luck.

I've now gotten so frustrated that I deleted the factory installed folder
all together. I went in to create a new one, but it doesn't work either.
Now I have none.

Has anyone else experienced this. What did you do to correct?

find the search folder at the bottom of the folder list and right click,
choose new. Follow up is listed there. Drag it to the favorite folder area.
