How do you remove the graph paper from Exel?

Those are known as grid lines.

In 2003 or earlier go to Tools>Options>View and remove the checkmark from
"gridlines".

Hi,

By default gridlines don't print, so if you want to turn them off for
printing purposes, its not necessary.

In 2007 you turn them off in the spreadsheet by choosing View, and
unchecking gridlines.
