How do you move the flag status column in the Outlook preview pan.

I need the "flag status" column of the Outlook preview pane to be on the left
side of the display, not the right. I have done the View, Options, Current
View, and moved the "flag status" to it's correct position but even though it
says it is moved, when I go back into the preview pane, nothing has changed.
Is this a locked field or something?
 
If you right click on the header, pick Field Chooser, you can select and drag
FollowUp Flag to wherever you want.
 
You must first delete the Flag column and then add it where you want by using
Field Chooser.
 
Milly, please show me the error of my ways. I can move the follow up column
anywhere using field chooser but I cannot move the the "quick flag" column. I
can remove it but I can't move it. What am I not seeing here?
