How do you link archived items?

Can you associate archived items to the contacts so that they are reflected
on the activities tab?
 
The Activities tab lists related items that reside in the folders designated
for the currently displayed activities group. You can modify the settings
for an activities group on the Properties dialog for the contacts folder.
Note that a group cannot contain folders from two different information
stores. Therefore, you'll need one group for your mailbox folders and one
for your archive .pst file.
