How do you get the arrows to show up in a Cycle Diagram?

When using the cycle diagram option, we aren't allowed to change the shape of
the object and it doesn't look like the icon that you click. Is there anyway
to create a cycle diagram that looks like the icon you are clicking on when
you choose it? Or at least be able to make a cycle diagram with arrows?

Nam,
In the diagram toolbar click on the layout button - choose AutoLayout to
turn that off.
Now change each shape by selecting it and using the yellow handles to
adjust. It will not be easy but it can be done.

You'll find adjusting those arrows to be a "challenge" (ie nightmare ) if you
are looking for a professional looking job. The real alternative is to find
someone with 2003 to do the slide for you and use insert slides from files to
add it.
