I bought a new computer and need to erase the c: drive on
my old one. I've never done that in Windows XP, and
cannot seem to find any instructions on how to do so.

Can anyone please help? Thanks!

Insert a boot disk in its floppy drive and boot up. Execute the format
c: command from the boot disk.
