How do you create bar codes in excel?

I am trying to setup a spreadsheet that will print off bar codes. I need
them for an inventory tracking sheet.

Does any one know how to convert a part number into a bar code? I did it a
long time ago!!

You need a barcode font

Bill,

You have two options:
1. Use a barcode font, such as Code 39 or Code 128.
2. Use an ActiveX control (a plug-in).

Depending on your needs, one option can be easier than the other. If
you simply need to print for your own internal purposes, and don't
need anything fancy (such as rotation, borders, exact bar thickness,
etc), then I would recommend you use a Font (Code 128 is more concise
of the two).
