How do you copy an appointment well into the future?

I am familiar with the facility to copy an appointment in Outlook 2007 by
using Ctrl-drag or right mouse key click and drag. However I cannot see how
to drop the appointment on a date that is not currently visible on my screen.
While in dragging mode, the calendar scrolling does not function.

Any suggestions?

You could select the appointment, click Edit>Copy, then click Go>Go to Date,
enter the date, click OK, which will bring up the date in question, select
the place where you want the appointment to be, then click Edit>Paste.

Thanks Brian. I knew there would be some way to do it. I am so used to seeing
Copy as a right mouse button menu option (not present in Outlook 2007 for
some unfathomable reason) that I forgot to check the main menu bar.
