how do you check and edit spelling on a protected sheet.

I am not able to edit or check spelling on my protected(but unlocked cells)
sheet. How can I do that without unprotecting the sheets?
 
Hi Fredonia,
If unprotecting a worksheet within a macro is out of the question then
copy the sheet to another page or application and spell check it there.
