"How do you change the color of text in a footer?"

hi,
right click the cell you wish to format.
from the popup select format cells.
on the format dialog box click the font tab.
in the middle of the dialog box click the color arror.
select a color.
click ok.

Please put the entire question in the body of your post, once the
question is selected the subject header is seldom reread or
considered part of the question because the body should have
all details.

Your subject title asks a different question, and the answer to that
is that you can't change the color of the font in header or footer.

Though for the header only, you can use the cells on the spreadsheet
at the beginning as your header in colors.
