How do you capture to Divx using All-In-Wonder and MMC????

Hey folks,

I'm using the newest Multimedia Center from ATI with All-In-Wonder 9000 Pro
video card. I'm trying to capture video and have the output file be an avi
file encoded with DivX.

I can't figure how to do it though. In the TV Setup dialog under Personal
Video Recorder, there are options to save the capture output as DVD, Good,
Longer, and Video CD, but they all seem to be mpg.

How do I capture to avi Divx (or Xvid) encoded using MultiMedia Center?

Thanks!

Divx is not included as an option with the ATI capturing software. Just
capture to a decent mpeg format and then convert it to Divx using Virtual
Dub or a like program.

From MMC version 8.8 onwards there is an MPEG-4 option (640 x 576, 3.00
Mbit/Sec) which always says DIVX in the corner at the start of each clip,
and saves files as AVI.

No problem with the new driver. I have AIW 8500DV and Divx Pro installed.
When I select "Home Video" recording profile, my avi has Divx logo in
down right corner.
