How do set data validation using cells on a different worksheet?

Can we use a range of cells for a data validation list which is on a
different worksheet?

Each month, we open a new worksheet for queries received and we want the
same range of options available as a list in our 'query type' column. We've
used a data validation list drawn from a list of several options, and would
like to reuse the same data validation conditions on every sheet. At the
moment we can't seem to give a worksheet reference in the data validation
options. Can this be done?
