How do install Access 97 full version on PC with XP

I have Office 97 professional and want to use this version, not more recent
versions, for compatability purposes. A standard installation of Access 97
is already on my PC but I cannot use set up to to add the extra facilities
(such as subforms) that you can get on the customised installation. The
operating system is Windows XP home version. Someone suggested de-installing
Office 97 and then trying re-install it but I am worried I will not manage to
install any part of it and will be left with nothing.

Subforms aren't a special feature: they're part of the basic product.

I think you're going to need to give more details of what you're trying to
do and what errors you're getting.

in Access 2003 you can set the database format to Access 97 format.
