i tried to input mobile phone numbers into an excel spreadsheet but the 0 at
the beginning always disappears. Does anyone know how to rectify this problem?

Try formatting the cell and changing it to a text format. This will allow
the 0 to remain at the start.

If you need help doing this, please just reply.

There's a telephone number format that might work. It's based on your OS
regional settings. Format>Cells>Number tab>Special.

If that doesn't work then you can preformat the cell as TEXT or precede the
entry with an apostrophe: '020-10-555-1212

I can give you an expert level answer that absolutely will work. But, I
first need to know if ALL the numbers are exactly 10 digits.
