Please can some one give me the step by step instructions on how to get my
tiscali e-mails through Outlook? I have two tiscali e-mail addresses if
possible I would like both via Outlook?

I'm confussed with POP and IMAP????? I've tried to follow instructions
posted before but it won't work - it keeps asking for my password which I
type in put the box just pops up agian and again. AHHHHHH

I confess I hate computers so please speak in English.

Thanks

The Tiscali help site:
http://www.tiscali.co.uk/help/email/oe_settings_start.html

It says it's for Outlook Express, but in Outlook do Tools-Account
Settings-New and go from there.

You don't "use Outlook instead of Tiscali", you use Outlook to fetch email
from the Tiscali servers.
I'm confussed with POP and IMAP?????

They are two different protocols. POP3 is designed to allow a client to
fetch email from a server by downloading it to the client, then deleting it
from the server. All email is kept on the local computer. There is a way to
change that, but that is the primary function of the POP3 protocol.

IMAP is designed to read email stored on a server by using a local client.
This allows access from multiple computers in multiple locations.

That may be as simple as a typo in some of the log in information. Or it may
be a problem with the Outlook installation. I have never actually
encountered the problem, so I am not familiar with the common fix; assuming
a problem with Outlook.

I tried a search, but probably need to refine my terms:

I tend to have a "love-hate" relationship with them. When they work as I
want them to, I "love" them. When they balk (usually because I failed to
understand how to do something), I "hate" them.
