How do I update a report without having to completely redesign it again?

I designed a report, saved it, and then also saved it as a template (which by the way i can't find the template :)

So how do I update my report without having to completely redesign it again

And where are my templates

Can you tell I'm new at this, lo

The way I usually do that when I make several similar
reports, is to do repeated save as', than make the
modifications as needed.
I am not sure what you refer to as saved as template, and
now you can not find the template. Did you save it
external to the mdb file?
