How do I unsend an email?

I have looked all over Outlook Help and asked this question on the Web, and
I'm getting nowhere. It's a simple question that should have a simple answer.
How do I "unsend" an email that I just sent but changed my mind about sending
after I hit the send button?????

You can attempt to recall it but you may not be successful. In Sent Items,
open the email that you sent. Click on Actions, then Recall This Message. It
may or may not work.

If using Exchange, you can recall the email. If not, you are out of luck.
And, even with Exchange, recalling depends on whether the recipient "allows"
the recall.

unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

If it left the outbox, you can pretty much kiss it good bye. If you use send
Immediately, yon may want to set a rule up to delay sending for a couple of
min so you hare trine to reconsider.

You can also save it as a draft while you have time to consider whether or
not you should send the email.

It sounds like you are speaking with some experience- what was that like
then?

Hi Dnorton

Unless you are using an exchange server type of account you will not be able
to recall a message that you have sent .

Thanks

Imagery doesn't necessitate personal experience. Extrapolation is usually
sufficient. However, the fact that you understand the imagery means you
yourself have the experience or ability to extrapolate.
