How do I uninstall Internet Connection Sharing for XP

P

Paula

Please help,
I am trying to install Cisco VPN. I am getting this
message: "Cisco System VPN Client is not compatible with
Microsoft's Internet Connection Sharing for Windows XP.
Internet Connection Sharing must be un-installed before
the VPN client can be installed."

Where and how do I go to uninstall connection sharing?

Thanks,
Paula

Right click on network neighborhood and click on properties.

Right click on your connection and select properties. Click the advanced tab
and uncheck the
"Allow other users to connect throught this machines internet connection"
setting.
