How do I undo this annoying deal?

I've encountered something I've never seen before. I'm creating a review
sheet for a tutorial, and suddenly whenever I highlight a word in bold, the
entire rest of that particular line ALSO goes bold! Also, whenever I
highlight a word to italics it, the entire line goes italic. What did I do??
I can't unbold or unitalic the rest of the line either. It won't do it. So
then I have to UNDO the whole thing! I've tried everything I know. It's
strange. Can anyone out there help me with this please? Thank you. TB

To my knowledge Windows XP does not include a tutorial review sheet creation
program. That would imply that you are asking about some program you don't
name in a news group that may or may not have any relevance.

You might try asking this question in a newsgroup dedicated to whatever
secret (otherwise you'd have mentioned the name, right?) word processing
application you're using. Windows XP is an operating system and, as
such, has no such features or capabilities.

Failing that, you could always try reading the Help files or contacting
the secret application's manufacturer's technical support.
