how do I turn text on a page to compose a greeting card.

I would like to make greeting cards. I am wondering how to turn the text on
the paper so I have half of the page blank and the text on the other half
 
You can also insert a Text Box or Word Art. The Text Box text has the change
direction command like a table. The Word Art box has the rotate feature like
clipart.
