how do I turn off the insert function dialog box in excel formulas

I do not want the 2 dialog boxes popping up to help me enter a formula, I
want to just be able to hit the formula key & enter the formula like I used
to in the older office Excel. The pop up boxes slow me down.
 
hi,
right click the office assistant. click options.
turn off anything you don't want help on.
you might have to play with it some.
