how do I turn off printing the summary in Word

Every time I create a document and then print it the summary prints out and I
have no idea how to make it turn off. I want the summary to stop printing
every time I print a page.

What version of Word is this? I'm not quite sure what you mean by the
summary, but I suspect that you mean the document properties. Assuming
you're using Word 2007, click the Office button, Word Options, Display tab,
and remove the check next to "Print document properties".

If you're using Word 2003 or earlier, choose Tools - Options - Print tab, to
access the option to turn this off.
