How do I transfer an EPS file Encore to FP?

I did it years ago, but can't remember all the steps.

I save my Encore file to EPS, but when I try to import the file to FP, there
is nothing in the directory where I put the EPS file...

EPS = Encapsulated PostScript and can not be read by FP

Open the EPS in an image editor and Save As a jpg...or if it's a music score
from Encore, save it as a .gif and import into FP.
