take that contact information and add it to my outlook with retyping it can
this be done?

What kind of information? IN any case, you'll need to arrange it as
comma-delimited or tab-delimited file and then save it as a text file.

Thanks for the advice but how do i do this i have never heard of a
comma-delimited or tab-delimited file. what do i do with this
the Information is names and addresses and phone numbers please let me know
thanks
Heather

Delimited means separated by. Comma-delimited means data separated by
commas. If you export a contacts folder from Outlook, you can see what this
might look like.

The details in your case will depend on exactly what your data source looks
like. I'm afraid we can't read your mind about that.
