how do I to put a 3 part pyramid in a presentation

I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but in PowerPoint 2003, if you click
Insert Diagram or Organizational Chart on the Drawing toolbar, one of the
options is a 3-part pyramid. You can also build one out of AutoShapes, using
2 trapezoids and a triangle from the AutoShapes> Basic Shapes options.

In 2007, choose Insert tab> Illustrations group> SmartArt and you'll see a
pyramid there, too.

Is this what you meant?
