How do I superscript a number?

I am trying to change the number 2 to a superscript so that it reads
"squared" but I can't seem to do it in Outlook. In Microsoft Word, you
highlight what you want to superscript, right click and select Font, and
select Superscript.
 
Set Word as your email editor or use CTRL+ALT+2 (US International keyboard
layout)
