How do I submit an XP bug?

I didn't see it on Connect...

I noticed this just today. When changing themes (Luna->Classic, or
Classic->Luna), the height of the taskbar is reset.

Even if that could be qualified as a 'bug' - it's doubtful (at best) it's
ever going to be fixed.

(Windows XP is essentially dead for all practical purposes. Something like
that is more of an annoyance than a bug anyway - after all - you just
changed an entire theme, why would you expect anything to stay the same -
you told it all to change.)

Would this be you?

I have to agree with one responder... How often are you changing your
themes?

I tried it on a couple of machines myself - it does reset the height of my
taskbar. I actually did not expect it to remember - but if you do - perhaps
that changed sometime back.

What Windows version, what service pack?

No, that's not me on TechRepublic. I forgot to check if this is still
present in Vista or the 7 Beta at home. I agree that fixing this in XP would
be a waste of time for MS, as people don't change their theme too often. I
do development work and often change it to check if my application is spaced
correctly given the slightly thicker controls in Luna vs. Classic. After
using 7 I've started placing a lot more icons in the QuickLaunch toolbar, so
I need at least two rows. It's just a minor annoyance, and something that
I'm surprised is in there.

To answer your final question, it's XP SP3.
