How do i stop this message from popping up?

(application) has encountered a problem and needs to close.
Please tell Microsoft about this problem
(send error report) or (don't send)

I know there is a way to stop this popping up but I can't remember how.

Press windows key + break (or goto the system control panel)
click on the advanced tab
click "error reporting" at the bottom

The most effective way would be to repair/replace the defective
application, of course. However, if all you want to do is turn off the
notice and not report the error, right-click My Computer > Properties >
Advanced > Error Reporting, Disable error reporting.
