How do I stop the "enter" button from altering a form?

Any ideas? I want users to fill out the form using the tab or toggle buttons
only. As it is, even when I protect the document only for form filling,
hitting the enter key adds lines and screw up the formatting.
 
Most form creators put text form fields in table cells with Exact row height
(and Preferred column width and auto resizing disabled). But also see “WD:
