how do i stop sending large email that is already transmitting

I sent a file that is way too large to e-mail by accident and I can't cancel
or even delete it. I just want to end it so I can send and recieve e-mail.
Any suggestions? Thanks for your help!

Thanks sooooooooooo much! Putting outlook offline ,closing and opening
worked!! THANKS

Solution is to switch your modem off and then delete mail. Most SP limit the size of the file you can transmit to the mail server.

It's not necessary to disconnect from the Internet.
