How do I stop PERSONAL document opening when I open another doc

When I open an existing Excel file the PERSONAL documents opens too. I
recently recorded a new Macro and this seems to have happened since then.
How do I stop this document opening?

If you want to keep the macro available, then most people just hide that window.

Open excel
(in xl2003 menus)
Activate the personal.xls window
Window|Hide

close excel
You'll be prompted to save your change (since you hid that window).
Answer yes.

And reopen excel. Personal.xls will be out of the way, but the macros will be
available for use.

If you want to delete personal.xls so that the macros are no longer available.
Open excel
activate the personal.xls window

type this into any cell:
=cell("Filename",a1)
Make a note of the location and file name.

Close excel.

Open windows explorer and traverse to that folder and delete the file.
