how do I stop outlook2003 from removing line breaks?

In all of the messages that I receive Outlook takes out what it thinks is
extra line breaks. most of the messages are formated that way and are not
extra line breaks. How do I get Outlook 2003 to stop removing these line
breaks?
 
Tools > Options, Preferences tab, Email Options button - there's a checkbox
there that says "Remove extra line breaks in plain text messages" ...is that
checked? Of course, as it says, it applies only to plain text messages.
